Camp Description:​

Campers will learn essential engineering concepts using LEGO Mindstorms while designing, building, and programming their robots to complete a challenge based on the 2024 Crescendo FIRST Robotics Challenge. Mentored by students on the World Champion Da Vinci Robotics Team, campers will complete a wide range of robot objectives based on each student’s skill level and interest.

Each session of this camp will have different challenges for each week.

Through participation in creative drama and musical explorations and activities, campers will build and develop performance skills, discover individual artistic expression, overcome trepidation, and work together as a collaborative community building teamwork, trust, awareness, and authenticity.

Each camp will culminate with a "Showcase Share" for families to enjoy.

Through a variety of specially designed musical and non-musical theatre participations and activities, campers will have an opportunity to grow and evolve performance skills, explore personal artistic expression, work as a collaborative community building teamwork, trust, awareness, and authenticity, and strengthen their ability to take creative risks and embrace their distinctive capabilities.

Camp Description:

Campers will learn how to make functional and sculptural ceramics using hand building techniques, such as coil and slab building. Students will make a pinch pot, toothbrush/pencil holder, ceramic mask, and object of their choice.

Campers will enjoy a multidisciplinary summer art experience. 2nd-5th graders will explore historical and contemporary art through working with acrylic and watercolor painting, drawing, comics/cartooning, printmaking and ceramics.

Camp Description:

Campers will be introduced to Adobe Photoshop and develop professional graphic design skills. Each day, students will learn how to use a new Photoshop tool or technique in response to a fun or interesting design challenge. At the end of the camp, students will create a final piece that shows off all their skills.
